About us
Salook, a resource, research and training centre, is a Pakistani chapter of the Netherlands-based Universal Sufi Council which undertakes activities to safeguard and spread the indigenous culture to protect, preserve and promote humanity’s common heritage of peace, harmony and tolerance. It aims at translating inner peace into outer practices.
Salook was inaugurated in June 2014 by Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Religious Affairs & Interfaith Harmony.
Salook initiates small but firm steps to discuss, understand and to create a common ground for society in the face of the scourge of militancy and the threat it is posing to the centuries old society organized around the teachings of saints and sages of the world great religions like Hinduism, Jainism, Budhism and Islam.
